Read thought it might be an ok read, some mindless entertainment while I was in Miami, and was pleasantly surprised. Didn't expect much from an "amateur" writer. It's got Indians, casinos, movie stars, developers, smugglers--the usual cast of South Florida crazies, along with a plot that is hilarious. Good reading for the beach, the pool or the bedside table when you want a fun, relaxing read that doesn't tax the brain cells. Worth the trip.Product details

Hilarious hijinks. This book kept me chuckling (and shaking my head) from beginning to end. It was a wonderful distraction for a cold, dreary northern winter. Looking forward to the sequel, or whatever comes next!

I was a client of the Marmesh vet practice for almost twenty years so I was mildly astonished to find Michael had written a book. Oboy, did he ever! It helps to have some knowledge of Miami and Keys economy/politics, but it's not really necessary to enjoy this terrifically funny book. Even folks in Wisconsin can enjoy this book and laugh out loud, loudly and frequently and with gusto. Loved it and eagerly await Mike's next one. I have sent copies to all the expat Coconut Grovers I know. Thanks Mike.
